CROSS COUNTRY CAMP
Here's the latest information from Coach Weigand:

I can get the cabins for July 26-30, not the 19-23 as I originally wanted.
We can take 30 athletes. The breakdown of boys to girls will be about 20-10, possibly 18-12 if there is enough interest from the girls and there are enough girls qualified to undergo that kind of training safely.
We will all be staying in cabins, no camping for the boys at the campground.

We will rent 2 15 passenger minibusses for transportation, which will be driven by coach Higgins and I.

The early cost estimates are as follows.

84$ for the accomodations (cabins)
42$ for bus rental.

plus
gas for the busses and other vehicles
food costs. It has been a few years but Coach Rumfelt is going to try and look up what we paid in food the last time we went to Bryson City
rafting (approx 10-15$)
buffet lunch after rafting (if the restaraunt is still there) 10-15$
tube rental for tubing on the creek (i believe it was 2-4$ a day)
8-10$ for camp shirts

It looks like we can keep it under $200-250.

What I need to know is more of a definite head count as to who would like to attend because i have to send a check for half the cost of the cabins as a deposit.
Can you please send this message out to the parents and ask them to respond with a definite yes, if they know they can attend, or a maybe if they are interested but not sure if they can commit?
I would need this info asap.
